It's a vigorous grower, quick to germinate, but the leaves are not the same shape.

Although the aroma is good, the flavor is a little bitter. I've gown a lot of basil, indoors and out, and this is very disappointing. Instead of the product, I Instead of the product, I received a letter from department of agriculture stating: Material not authorized for entry Phyto-sanitary certificate is missing.

Seller shipped from China.. US department of Agriculture would not all in the country The package was missing Phyto-sanitary certificate and Permit No big loss cash wise DO not order this or any other agricultural product from this seller. But the leaves are kinda tough and have They grew into really big plants with tons of leaves.

My basil plant looks amazing and smells incredible. It's only taken about 2 months to get nice big leaves, but I've been growing them in a pot on the windowsill in my west facing apartment. So with a little water every other day and only a few hrs of sunlight a day, they are super healthy and I can't wait to use them in recipes! Also the seeds got here super fast!

Of the 12 I planted, all 12 germinated in 6 days! Will update rating and review once I've harvested as it it's only day 8 at this point. They were sewn into 6 moistened rockwool cubes 2 in each cube, our tap water is pH 7. Temps are 68 night 75 day. Removed the dome when their first leaves emerged and have watered as needed to keep the rockwool moist. I've had 2 germinations and grows total and harvested once. Also very easy to clone, just placed in water and had roots a few days later.

Seeds sprouted in a week and are still growing. I planted a dozen seeds and every one of them germinated so I guess the quality is good. Basil seeds are very small like bits of pepper and as I had never planted them before I wasn't sure how they would grow but they are doing just fine. One person found this helpful. Delivery arrived when communicated and in less than a week, I already have a ton of little seedlings! I only planted a small amount of the seeds so to have as many little guys as I do, all of them must be germinating!

I also like that they were delivered in a small resealable pouch so I don't have seeds spilling in the drawer I keep them in. See all reviews. See all customer images. Most recent customer reviews. Published 6 days ago. Published 10 days ago. Published 12 days ago. Published 16 days ago.

We would love to show you what's growing on the farm You may have been noticing that the packaging is changing for Grow Wild. Wherever possible, we use no packaging.

We use no plastic but instead are using recyclable cellophane and compostable paper. During the winter months we put all greeen leaf in brown paper bags - and have found that this worked very well last winter. It was a long winter so there was lots of time to trial it!

However, when the warm weather came, we found the leaves wilted as we looked at them and so made the decision to revert to the plant-based and recyclable cellophane as and when necessary. We would have preferred not to have done this becasue the cellophane is recyclable but not compostable.

We will let you know of progress since we are constantly on the lookout, and things are moving quite quickly now on the compostable materials front. In the meantime, please give us feedback about your produce quality. We need to know how this is working for you too! The cello bags can be returned to us for recycling. We deliver to your door in Edinburgh, Glasgow and throughout Central Scotland. Once you have registered, we can get your order all organised, and then will be in touch with you to confirm details
